Top Social Networking Apps on iOS in Estonia: Q3 2024

During the third quarter of 2024, Estonia saw varied performance among its top social networking apps on the iOS platform. Data provided by Sensor Tower highlights trends in downloads and revenue for these popular applications.

Threads by Instagram, Inc. showed a consistent increase in downloads over the quarter. Starting with approximately 1.8K downloads in early July, the app peaked at around 2.6K by the end of August, concluding the quarter with about 2K downloads per week.

WhatsApp Messenger maintained a steady revenue stream, consistently generating approximately $1 per week. Weekly downloads saw a gradual rise, from 836 in the first week of July to a high of 1.1K by late September.

Telegram Messenger experienced fluctuations in both revenue and downloads. Weekly revenue peaked at roughly $2.8K in mid-August and settled around $1.1K by the end of September. Downloads remained relatively stable, with slight variations, averaging around 650 per week.

Facebook demonstrated a moderate revenue increase, reaching a peak of $190 in early August, with a recovery to $112 by the end of September. Download numbers were consistent, averaging around 570 downloads weekly throughout the quarter.

Lastly, Google Meet saw a notable rise in downloads, starting at 348 in early July and climbing to 821 by late September. Despite this increase, revenue data for the app was not available.
